Repo failure (mirrorservice.org)

Postby xendistar » 16 May 2018 19:33

I went to update my Solydx-ee install to night and got the following error

Code: Select all

mit@prometheus:~$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
[sudo] password for mit:
Err:1 http://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/repository.solydxk.com solydxk-ee InRelease

I know that the solydXK site has been moved from .com site to a .nl site But I thought that there was an update that was going to chnage the relevant repo?

Anyway can somebody confirm what the correct repo's I should be using for Solydx-ee 64 bit please.

Tim

You are using a mirror which encountered an error (which needs to be checked by Arjen). Either open solydxk-system and choose another mirror or edit the file manually. Grizzler mentioned the standard EE repos in this post: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7233&start=20#p68241

Thanks ilu

I trimmed my source list to this

Code: Select all

deb https://repository.solydxk.nl/ solydxk-ee main upstream import
deb http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free
Which seems to have solved the problem

I did try some of the other repos and mirror services but they all seemed to give me errors message

Code: Select all

Ign:4 http://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/solydxk.com/repository solydxk-0 InRelease
Err:5 http://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/solydxk.com/repository solydxk-0 Release
  404 Not Found [IP: 194.71.11.173 80]
and this one

Code: Select all

Err:6 http://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/solydxk.com/repository solydxk-0 Release
  404 Not Found [IP: 194.71.11.165 80]
Hit:7 https://repository.solydxk.nl solydxk-ee InRelease
Ign:8 https://repository.solydxk.nl solydxk-0 InRelease
Err:9 https://repository.solydxk.nl solydxk-0 Release

Not sure if these represent network issue or something

I have sent an e-mail to the maintainer of the UK mirror.

I see that changing mirrors in the EEs is going wrong.
Please, change solydxk-0 to solydxk-ee in the sources.list file. solydxk-0 does not exist.

It seemed that I had my permissions wrong on the repository directory but because I didn't have a 403 error on my own repository I never bothered to check. The NLUUG seems to function now. So, the rest will hopefully follow soon.

I've also updated solydxk-system to check for the EE before saving the mirror to the fstab file. I haven't had time to test it, though.
