Migration of Firefox ESR from 52 to 60 - when best to put on hold?

Postby ilu » 15 Apr 2018 20:59

Did anybody happen to find the date when debian is going to migrate firefox-esr to version 60? That's all I found: https://support.mozilla.org/de/questions/1203188 regarding the migration. I could not find anything debian specific. Due to several reasons I'd like to stop updating with v. 52.9.

But I might need to stop earlier: "Note : Legacy Extensions will be deleted or removed in any version update after May 2018." I can't find an official source for that statement. Can anybody confirm/deny?

Just to be sure I put updates on hold today. I don't like bad surprises.
